This study intends to contribute to the research theme which tries to assess the role of maritime links in the process of economic integration between different waters. It reconstructs the mechanisms of integration between merchant and port networks that belonged to Ibiza, a part of sea and land that in the early fifteenth century played a special role of connection and intermediation between the countries bordering the Mediterranean
