The complexity model is a general epistemic paradigm, a descriptive, operative and regulative idal of contemporary knowledge. Complexity is also a pedagogical principle, connected to the constitution of subjectivity. From the paradigm of complexity emerges the critical face of pedagogical knowledge, which does not produce absolute truths, but addresses pedagogical problems throughh the specific role of "critical pedagogy": producing reflective knowledge on intentions, regulatory ideas and horizons of meaning.
