Si descrivono le nostre ricerche sui risonatori aperti con bordo. Si riportano i risultati, teorici e sperimentali, per tre differenti tipi di risonatori: con bordo piatto, inclinato e curvo, notando che presentano caratteristiche importanti per le applicazioni. Planar Fabry-Perot resonators with rims of three different shapes, namely, flat, sloped, and curved rims, were investigated both theoretically and experimentally. Here we describe the theoretical results and compare them with the experimental tests carried out on X-band models.
