An empirical model to predict the capture width ratio of an oscillating water column device is proposed. The model is based on dimensional analysis and non-linear regression. The model includes the effect of non-linear phenomena. The model can be used in the preliminary stage of the design of an oscillating water column device. An example application for device installation in the Mediterranean Sea is provided.

Abstract
An empirical model to predict the capture width ratio of an oscillating water column device is proposed. The model is based on dimensional analysis and non-linear regression. The model includes the effect of non-linear phenomena. The model can be used in the preliminary stage of the design of an oscillating water column device. An example application for device installation in the Mediterranean Sea is provided.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
