This paper deals with a research carried out by the University of Florence on the thermal performances of a recently built nZEB in central Italy. A platform frame detached house inhomogeneous component has been analysed and critically evaluated with different calculation methods. Thermal transmittance and temperature trend inside the wall have been monitored and the results of the on-site monitoring (that is still going on) have been compared with the theoretical results.
