IL RILIEVO INTEGRATO PER LA CONOSCENZA E LA VALORIZZAZIONE. I CASI STUDIO DEL CONVENTO DI ITENHAÈM E DELLE ROVINE DI ABAREBEBÉ SULLA COSTA PAULISTA (SAN PAOLO, BRASILE)

This paper concerns the consolidated methodologies of digitai su17Jry applied to two case studies located about 100 km south of the ciry of Sào Paulo in BrazjL· the first is the convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceiçào in the ciry of Itanhaém, dating back to the S ixteenth Century and consisting of two main buildings, the church and a part of the convent in a state of partial ruin. The complex is located on the top of a hill that dominates the town from above and has undergone important restorations during the 20th century. The other case stucjy is represented f:y the ruins of Abarebebé in the ciry of Peruibe, whose origins date back to the same Portuguese colonia! period, f:y the ] esuits, as in the other case stucfy. This is located about 700 meters from the sea on top of a hill, where there was a previous pre-Columbian settlement, with an excellent view of the surrounding coastline. The research is the result of the collaboration between the DIDA-Department of Architecture of the Universiry of Florence and the FAU-USP Faculdade de Arquitectura and Urbanism - Universidade de Sào Paulo in agreement with locai administrations. The data collected through the integrated su17Jry, laser scanner and structure from motion (SJM), and a detailed historical research on the sites, have allowed the realization of plans and other drawings, as the first documentation of these two complexes. The acquired database allowed some considerations regarding the methodolog;y to be adopted far the realization of drawings useful far the conse17Jation of the memory of these architectural complexes, which today are in conditions of risk, and far their valorisation through the most recent tools far digitai visualization.
