The problems related to the conservation of cultural heritage and their protection is particularly important. The earthquake is a problem that very often causes significant losses or damage. In Italy and in other parts of the world where this catastrophe occurs, there have been many losses of immovable and movable cultural heritage. Recent seismic events, Assisi (1997), L'Aquila (2009), Emilia (2012) and finally Centro Italia (2016), reiterate the need to proceed a well-targeted prevention for seismic actions. The definition of the vulnerability or seismic safety of movable goods is importance for making choices for careful conservation. Methodologies and simplified approaches have been implemented in recent years, for the evaluation of the vulnerability of artistic artefacts and allow the attribution of categories of behaviour. While the determination of the safety index can be obtained by simplified analysis with rigid blocks or 3d model. In this work we report an experience conducted on the Bargello museum in Florence, a place that preserves one of the most important collections of sculptures in Florence. The definition of the category of behaviour and of the safety index will be conducted on the Marzocco, symbol of the city of Florence, and on its base. The study shows how such a simple methodology allows to the definition of the safety levels of the sculptural group.

Abstract
The study shows how such a simple methodology allows to the definition of the safety levels of the sculptural group.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
