The essay deals with the 2011 opera "The Enchanted Island", devised by Jeremy Sams, a pastiche from "The Tempest" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream", with baroque musci. The essay will start from the 18th. and 19th-century operatic versions of "The Tempest", which represent a theatrical heritage for the 2011 Enchanted Island.
