The aim of this paper is to highlight the useful features of Spanish oral corpora for research in conversation analysis. A review on the oral sections of the more general corpora will help us to see how in these transcriptions some of the pa-rameters that must have been taken into account, such as taking turns, interrup-tions, overlaps, backchannels, etc. are not always respected. Some current par-allel and multilingual corpus that will boost the conversation contrastive analysis will be described.
