A new method to analyze elliptical structures with constant axial ratio is presented. It is based on Transformation Optics and 2.5D Finite Element Method, with greatly improved efficiency over 3D techniques. For open structures, radiation is modeled by ad-hoc PML conditions specifically developed for this application.
