La criminalità cinese in Italia. Bande e organizzazioni criminali

The article is aimed at analysing the Chinese organized crime in Italy. This criminal phenomenon is based on two main forms: gangs and Mafia-type associations. The contribution is divided in three parts. According to international specialized literature, the first part gives a preliminary definition of the organized crime concept. The second takes into consideration the differences between gangs and Mafia organizations. Gangs and Mafia organizations are analysed from the standpoint of the relationships within criminal groups, their more relevant illegal activities, and the wider relationships with their fellow-country men living in Italy. The concluding third part gives some insights concerning a useful method to deal with the Chinese organized crime.
