The paper examines the phenomenon of Hegel-Renaissance in the France in the thirties of the twentieth century: after a first part devoted to the general description of the rediscovery of Hegel, the analysis focuses on the interpretation of Hegel Theory on Time proposed by Alexandre Koyré in the Paper "Hegel à Jena" (1934). On the one hand Koyré privileges the discussion of Hegel’s Jena Writings on Time and places it on a higher level to that contained in the Encyclopedia, on the other side Koyré combines the early Hegelian concept of time with those developed by leading thinkers of Age (Husserl and Heidegger). Thanks to the attention paid to Hegel’s Jena Writings on Time, virtually unknown at the time because published in the twenties, and to the dialogue with the most advanced figures of contemporary philosophy, Koyré renews the image of Hegel compared with the traditional Historiography and adopts a method of investigation that is still a point of reference for all those who wish to openly confront the classics of philosophy.
