Abstract
A method is described to compare data of laser intensity scintillation with theoretical probability density functions, pdf. The method allows one to take into account the non linearity of the receiving detector. Application of the method is made to experimental data, obtained by us after a 4.5 Km atmospheric path of a laser beam. Comparison between expected results from two possible pdf, namely log-normal pdf and Rice-Nakagami pdf, allows us to exclude that the data are from a Rice-Nakagami pdf.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
