To date, EAU Guidelines do not provide specific recommendation on resection techniques (RT) for tumor excision during partial nephrectomy (PN). To fill this unmet clinical need, we created in 2014 the SIB Margin score International Consortium designing a prospective multi-stage project (SIB project) following the IDEAL model. The aim of the study is to assess patterns and predictors of RTs in a cohort of patients undergoing PN for localized renal tumors (IDEAL Phase 2b).
