In the last decade, robot assisted pyeloplasty (RAP) has increasingly emerged for the treatment of pediatric patients with ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO). The aim of the study was to describe our experience of RAP for UPJO in a series of pediatric patients, divided into two groups based on weight, compared in terms of peri and postoperative outcomes. RAP represents a safe and effective therapeutic option with optimal outcomes also in the pediatric patient. We did not found significative differences in the two groups in terms of perioperative items and hospitalization time.

Abstract
In the last decade, robot assisted pyeloplasty (RAP) has increasingly emerged for the treatment of pediatric patients with ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO). The aim of the study was to describe our experience of RAP for UPJO in a series of pediatric patients, divided into two groups based on weight, compared in terms of peri and postoperative outcomes. RAP represents a safe and effective therapeutic option with optimal outcomes also in the pediatric patient. We did not found significative differences in the two groups in terms of perioperative items and hospitalization time.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
