Short term lifestyle changes including avoiding spicy food, alcohol, coffee and bike rides decreased serum PSA values in asymptomatic men with negative DRE and PSA between 2-10 ng/ml. Repeating PSA measurement after lifestyle modifications before proceeding with further testing might decrease false positives and could be studied in a randomized study (including MRI).

Abstract
Short term lifestyle changes including avoiding spicy food, alcohol, coffee and bike rides decreased serum PSA values in asymptomatic men with negative DRE and PSA between 2-10 ng/ml. Repeating PSA measurement after lifestyle modifications before proceeding with further testing might decrease false positives and could be studied in a randomized study (including MRI).| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
