The article presents the EU Erasmus Plus KA3 META (Minority Education Through Art) project, at its second year of implementation, but based on more than 20 years of experience within the MUS-E network in Europe. Starting from the preliminary project results, it introduces an in depth reflection on how the mainstreaming of all forms of arts in school didactics can contribute and foster social inclusion in pre-primary and primary schools, with a special focus on children with migrant background and/or belonging to minority groups.
