Peyronie’s disease hasa devastating effect on patients and their partners. Several non-surgicaltherapies have been tried in Peyronie’s disease (PD). However, theirefficacy remains questionable, as well-designed, placebo-controlledtrials have failed to confirm favourable results. Collagenase clostridiumhistolyticum (CCH- Xiapexâ) is the only licenced product for the treat-ment of PD as it has demonstrated safety and efficacy in several welldesigned clinical trials.
