The impact of ischemic damage on kidney function residual to partial nephrectomy (PN) remains a controversial issue. The clamping of the artery is more frequent during minimally invasive PN compared with the open counterpart. The CLOCK study (CLamp vs Off Clamp the Kidney during partial nephrectomy, clinicaltrial.gov registration n° NCT02287987) is a perspective, randomized, multicentre trial, started in September 2014, still recruiting, with the goal of 200 patients, to compare renal function preservation after robotic partial nephrectomy (RAPN). Local ethical committee approval was obtained by every center. Here an ″ad interim″ intention-to-treat analysis of the perioperative morbidity of the two procedures is reported.

Abstract
Here an ″ad interim″ intention-to-treat analysis of the perioperative morbidity of the two procedures is reported.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
