The Interrelation dynamics between an energy company and local population in the Congo Republic

This study has been carried out after about three years on field activity in the Congo Republic with an international energy company working in the social responsibility and sustainability sector of enterprise. We have applied the anthropological participatory approach interfacing to the social actors (local population and international agents), and we have made a cultural geographical analysis to the socio-environmental description. This is a contribution to the environmental conflicts issues as a current case study. Synthetically, in this article we stress a cultural approach of these representative organizations considered here as the main players in the environmental conflict.
