In this paper we respond to the commentary that Atroszko (2018) wrote on our paper entitled “The Bergen Study Addiction Scale: psychomet- ric properties of the Italian version. A pilot study” (Loscalzo and Giannini, 2018), which have both been published in the previous issue of this journal.
