his paper discuss the characteristics of the field radiated by higher-order Bessel beams launchers when generated through a cylindrical standing wave or a cylindrical inward traveling wave aperture distribution. In both the cases the launchers are obtained by using a properly designed Radial Line Slot Array antenna. The actual case where the radiating elements are arranged on the upper plate of the parallel plate waveguide, starting from a circumference of not infinitesimal radius, is analyzed.

Abstract
