Collective assumptions tend to consider refugees and asylum seekers as an inevitable cost or burden to society rather than as an important resource and opportunity. Transforming the paradigm of how people think about refugees and asylum seekers and providing a more accurate and reliable picture of the current humanitarian crisis will help us to understand the nature and the quality of an emerging cultural change, paving the way for more inclusive, cosmopolitan and wealthier societies and anticipating future economic and political needs.

Abstract
Collective assumptions tend to consider refugees and asylum seekers as an inevitable cost or burden to society rather than as an important resource and opportunity. Transforming the paradigm of how people think about refugees and asylum seekers and providing a more accurate and reliable picture of the current humanitarian crisis will help us to understand the nature and the quality of an emerging cultural change, paving the way for more inclusive, cosmopolitan and wealthier societies and anticipating future economic and political needs.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
