This paper introduces perfect circular arc elements in 2D and 2.5D Finite Element Method (FEM). Elements are obtained by deforming one or more edges in a standard triangular mesh through a coordinate change. This allows to completely eliminate the geometrical error in structures composed of circles or circular arcs.

Abstract
