The importance of the use of closed adapters, in place of open ones, for the calibration of Line Impedance Stabilization Networks working up to 400 MHz, as required by electromagnetic compatibility avionic standards, is here supported through evidence of their superior performance in terms of repeatability, reproducibility and accuracy.
