We propose a switched beam circular polarized antenna optimized for operation at 2.45 GHz. It comprises two disc-based patches assembled in a concentric structure. The antenna is capable of four beams: a directive beam with maximum in broadside direction, a conical beam with a transmission zero in φ = 0°, and two tilted beams pointing to φ = ±30°.The compact dimension, the single-layer structure, and the beamset with moderate beam correlation confirms the effectiveness of the proposed antenna for Direction of Arrival (DoA) applications.

Abstract
