Nowadays, the attention on operation and maintenance of gas turbine is growing fast because the component used in OilGas application are forced to endure great stress level and extreme conditions. The optimal maintenance solution in term of cost and effectiveness is represented by condition-based maintenance, that allows to monitor the system under test making a maintenance decision based on the health status of the device. One of the most critical equipment of a gas turbine is the mineral lube oil console used to reduce friction and fatigue between moving surfaces. In order to identify the optimal maintenance policies for the oil console, a Reliability Centred Maintenance procedure based on a Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality analysis was applied to the system.

Abstract
