To promote and recover the medieval Tuscan heritage, starting from the ancient itineraries and bridges that characterize a large part of the Lucca landscape, a project of analysis and survey was started in the Municipalities of Fabbriche di Vergemoli, Gallicano, Molazzana and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. It is a homogeneous system of internal areas characterized by a weak and rural economy, but which is located in an environmental, landscaping and historical-archaeological context of great value. The work took advantage of the Laser Scanner 3D technology from which emerged a widespread precariousness of the conditions of the bridges analyzed. The aim is to set valid premises for the territory and its monumental heritage to obtain renewed visibility: for this reason the University of Florence, in collaboration with Federciclismo and Tuscany Region, is active in the project of a cycling tourism that connects these places in a slow and sustainable way and makes them known and usable in the most suitable way.

Abstract
The aim is to set valid premises for the territory and its monumental heritage to obtain renewed visibility: for this reason the University of Florence, in collaboration with Federciclismo and Tuscany Region, is active in the project of a cycling tourism that connects these places in a slow and sustainable way and makes them known and usable in the most suitable way.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
