Família e dinâmicas sociais em Cabo Verde: fortalezas e vulnerabilidades

This paper addresses the issue of the family in the context of Cape Verde from a histori-cal-cultural perspective, therefore considering the social dynamics that characterize this archipelago: that is, the characteristics of its human settlement, and the peculiarities its social structure, in which the processes of mingling and creolization stand out, within a geophysical, climatic and sociological extremely demanding. Our goal is to contribute to the enrichment of the debate, promoting knowledge of the specificities of the Cape Ver-dean family, while highlighting some aspects that promote reflection on the challenges of a socio-educational project carried out with families living in situations of educational and socio-economic vulnerability.
