Accidente storico o ritorno alla storia? L’illiberalismo ungherese in prospettiva europea.

After 2010, the existing liberal democracy in Hungary has collapsed because of the landsliding political victory of the Hungarian nationalist-populist right. Although, this situation has not happened any backgrounds. I am dealing here with the three main historical and contemporary factors which dominated the regime change of 2010: the right-wing nationalist and authoritarian tradition in Hungary; the collapse of “hyperliberal” democracy as a forced project by the neoliberal elites; the new era of populism.
