The essay aims at analyzing the 8 January 2020 resolution carried out by the Italian Constitutional Court with which some important changes were made to the supplementary rules for judgments before the Court in the wake of a greater opening of the constitutional trial through three institutes such as the third party intervention, the amicus curiae and the hearing of experts. Through the analysis of the new supplementary rules it will be possible to investigate the scope of their applicabil- ity and the degree of innovation with respect to the previous discipline.

Abstract
