Sostenere l’Employability dei giovani adulti: il Career Service in Alta Formazione

The challenge for the wellbeing, in a world of continuous changes, is represented from the variety of the labour market (OECD, 2020). In particular way, over the last few years, these continuous changes have revealed the need for specific actions to support effective transitions from higher education to work. Specifically, themcategory of employability, which refers to the pedagogical literature of the late 1990s (Harvey, 1999; Yorke, 2006), has recently been taken as a standpoint for implementing specific educational actions for career development (Boffo & Fedeli, 2018). Based on this framework, the article illustrates the importance of Career Service strategies at Higher Education level. The model of the University of Florence is considered to be specific to an interesting meeting between research, teaching and third mission with the aim of supporting the transition to work of talented young adults.
