The relevance given to the bond between law and space, without any doubt, is one of the most thought-provoking features of The Nomos of the Earth. Thanks to this awareness, reading Schmitt’s magnum opus is particularly relevant for grasping the evolution of modern International Law. At the same time, the book is no less useful in considering how to regulate the new spaces opened up by technology and globalization.
