This paper is aimed at the study of lift-up building design. Wind induced forces and ventilation conditions at pedestrian level are measured around isolated buildings and urban street canyons with open spaces at both ground floor and higher, by combining wind tunnel measurements and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
