This paper starts from the rediscover of a little-known painting in the church of San Cristoforo in Cortona, dated 1710 and signed by Andrea Pasqualino Marini from Recanati. The sources mention this painter in Rome at the beginning of the 1680s, when he worked in the church of Santa Maria in Campo Marzio, maybe as a pupil of Ciro Ferri. He operated most of all in his hometown and in other towns in Marche, for example Matelica, Tolentino, Camerino and Corridonia. Other paintings are documented in Rome, as the decoration of the dome of the church of Sant’Andrea delle Fratte at the beginnings of XVIII century. At the end of his career, he is involved in a decorative campaign commissioned by Clement XI Albani to Pier Leone Ghezzi: six episodes of ceremonies of the Pope. Two of these paintings are surely by Andrea Pasqualino Marini. This paper aims to take stocks of the activity of Andrea Pasqualino Marini, to add some new attribution and to recover some information about his biography.

At the end of his career, he is involved in a decorative campaign commissioned by Clement XI Albani to Pier Leone Ghezzi: six episodes of ceremonies of the Pope. Two of these paintings are surely by Andrea Pasqualino Marini.
