L’indistricabile intreccio. Imprese, imprenditori e regime fascista. Premessa

L’articolo introduce una serie di contributi che analizzano le relazioni tra economia e impresa comunità e regime fascista. Il loro scopo è aggiornare le interpretazioni che erano fondata negli anni Sessanta-Settanta e rimaste indiscusse nei decenni successivi, diventando una sorta di mantra tra gli storici italiani contemporanei. L'articolo presenta i contributi più rilevanti di quella stagione storiografica, spiegando le ragioni per un nuovo approccio e per una nuova interpretazione sulla base di numerosi archivi, pubblici e privati, che si sono resi disponibili negli ultimi venti-trent’anni anni, ampiamente utilizzati dai diversi autori inclusi in questa serie di contributi. The papers of this section analyse the relationships between the economic and business community and the fascist regime. Their aim is to refresh the interpretations that were established in the 1960s-1970s and remained undisputed in the decades thereafter, becoming a sort of mantra among Italian contemporary historians. The article presents the most relevant contributions of that historiographical season, explaining the reasons for a new approach and a new interpretation on the strength of the numerous public, business, and private archives that have become available over the past 20-30 years, extensive use of which has been made by the papers included in this section
