Paolo Parrini was an Italian philosopher of international standing.This essay aims at identifying the main theoretical lines of his thought: epistemology and philosophy of science, philosophy of knowledge and meta-philosophy, that is, reflection on the methods and nature of philosophy. The result is a theoretical perspective whose main stylistic feature is the deep and virtuous integration between apparently separate and conflicting instances, both at theoretical and methodological and historical-philosophical level.
