Bagliori di un «illuminismo pessimista»: narrazioni del disastro nel Magris civile

This paper aims to analyse the representation of ecological disasters in the journalistic production of Claudio Magris, focusing on the authorial posture about the ecological crisis and the development of technology. The relationship between the textual and the real world is here examined focusing on the rhetoric strategies and the crucial role played by metaphor, which becomes the link to the author’s literary imagery.
