The aim of this contribution is twofold: on the one hand, to identify in Weber a particular stylization of the relationship between subjectivity and institutions; on the other hand, to clarify and specify the Weberian concept of institution, understood as that social group capable of erga omnes impositions. In this way it will be possible to use Weberian conceptuality also to set up a diagnosis of our present.

Abstract
