In the past we demonstrated that wandering of thin laser beams is a useful tool for investigating the atmospheric turbulence and refractive index gradient. Wandering can be used also for investigating transients and anisotropy. Experimental results obtained by us in the laboratory and in the open air are presented.

Abstract
