Il nodo della violenza: diritto, gender mainstreaming e libertà femminile nel dibattito italiano

The essay analyzes the different threads that make up the knot of heterosexual male violence against women in Italy, paying special attention to the role of law, rhetoric and culture. It argues that we need to move away from an emergency approach to the problem and that we should instead frame it in its broader social and political dimension.
