I had the opportunity to participate as the Guest Editor for the Special Issue dedicated to wound healing, a very important topic, given the difficulty of the treatments in many cases and, of course, the suffering of numerous people. In these circumstances, a deep knowledge of the cells and molecules involved in the tissue response to a trauma plays a crucial role in the response to surgical operations as well as in the development of therapies in difficult-to-heal wounds, such as chronic and keloid. Therefore, the purpose of this issue was to stimulate research and clinical interest in this meaningful field and to serve as a point of reference for the various professionals who are involved daily in solving the problems posed by wounds and their recovery.

Abstract
I had the opportunity to participate as the Guest Editor for the Special Issue dedicated to wound healing, a very important topic, given the difficulty of the treatments in many cases and, of course, the suffering of numerous people. In these circumstances, a deep knowledge of the cells and molecules involved in the tissue response to a trauma plays a crucial role in the response to surgical operations as well as in the development of therapies in difficult-to-heal wounds, such as chronic and keloid. Therefore, the purpose of this issue was to stimulate research and clinical interest in this meaningful field and to serve as a point of reference for the various professionals who are involved daily in solving the problems posed by wounds and their recovery.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
