Le Corbusier e Parigi

La mostra dal titolo "I disegni giovanili di Le Corbusier" (19/9/2020-24/01/2021) presso il Teatro dell'Architettura dell'Accademia di Mensrisio diventa l'occasione per porre in analisi il pensiero con cui, attraverso il ritratto della città di Parigi l'architetto indaga e interpreta i suoi elementi architettonici fondativi e significanti. In particolare sono stati presi in esame cinque acquarelli (tre dei quali inediti) appartenenti agli anni di formazione e al reportage dei primi viaggi-studio che LC compie in Francia nel 1908 dove il tema centrale delle raffigurazioni è il rapporto tra le emergenze storiche e il tessuto edilizio della città. Il disegno viene concepito dall'architetto non soltanto come strumento di approccio e osservazione della storia e della tipologia della città quanto come promemoria per la sua ricerca sullo spazio urbano (analogia e corrispondenza tra gli acquarelli e i disegni del Plan Voicin del 1922).The exhibition entitled "Le Corbusier's early drawings" (19/9 / 2020-24 / 01/2021) at the Teatro dell'Architettura of the Mensrisio Academy becomes an opportunity to analyze the thought with which, through the portrait of the city of Paris the architect investigates and interprets its foundational and significant architectural elements. In particular, five watercolors belonging to the formative years and the reportage of the first study trips that LC made to France in 1908 were examined, where the central theme of the representations is the relationship between the historical emergencies and the building fabric of the city. The drawing is conceived by the architect not only as a tool for approaching and observing the history and typology of the city but also as a reminder for his research on urban space (analogy and correspondence between the watercolors and the drawings of the 1922 Plan Voicin).
