This article offers critical remarks and new emendations on four passages in Petronius’ Satyrica : 77, 4-5 ; 89, ll. 27-28 (Eumolp. Troiae halosis, 27-28) ; 114, 10-11 ; fr. 28, 12 Müller. It also shows that a passage in Eumolpus’ Bellum ciuile (Petron. 124, 1, ll. 271-279) has among its literary models Sen. ira 2, 35, 6 and is the source of Octauia 593-595. Moreover, it puts forward new arguments supporting the hypothesis that fr. 28 Müller (primus in orbe deos fecit timor, eqs.) is Petronian and inspired Stat. Theb. 3, 648-669 ; some philological remarks on the text of this Statian passage are also offered en passant.

Abstract
Theb. 3, 648-669 ; some philological remarks on the text of this Statian passage are also offered en passant.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
