The handling of pandemic in all the countries affected by the CoViD-19 outbreak is a major topic of discussion at global level, also due to the ethical, legal and social implications posed by the measures adopted by national governments and health authorities to face the emergency. New technologies are playing a fundamental role to curb the virus outbreak and the discussion around its use came out from the narrow boundaries of the academic debate. Moving from the theoretical approach of the everyday bioethics, I will briefly analyse the main ethical issues posed by the advent of pandemics with regard to the use of the new technologies. These issues can be clustered in three categories: a) the healthcare organisation; b) the respect of fundamental rights; c) the protection of vulnerable groups
