The article reports the research in the field of architectural design and project design management focusing on user health safety in public spaces with high traffic. The field of application is Airport Passenger Terminals. Based on the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic and looking forward to the possibility of same magnitude events, the research addresses the problem combining the use of in vitro and in vivo assessment of antibacterial surfaces high-performance. It has done by the use of management digital parametric tools. The contribution also aims to find out generalizable methodologies and architectural solutions to achieve health safety and contribute to social sustainability in airport terminal design. It is an innovative and original approach research within the airport terminal environment in vivo test application. The airport is the ideal experimentation place because of operational processes related to safety perception by users.
