Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are non-infectious chronic pathologies—including obesity, metabolic syndrome, chronic kidney disease (CKD), cardiovascular (CV) diseases, cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases—which represent the main cause of death and disability for the general population. Their growing prevalence is related to the increasing age of the population; urbanization; and lifestyle changes. Oxidative stress and inflammation induce and modulate several signaling pathways that play a crucial role in the pathophysiology and progression of these diseases. Thus, they represent a good target for the development of several therapeutic strategies. This Special Issue consists of 12 articles providing different approaches to elucidate the underlying pathogenesis and treatment mechanisms of conditions related to oxidative stress and inflammation.

Abstract
This Special Issue consists of 12 articles providing different approaches to elucidate the underlying pathogenesis and treatment mechanisms of conditions related to oxidative stress and inflammation.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
