The project aspires to activate innovation processes for the management of waste from fishing and aquaculture, through the development of a product system aimed at integrating product, service and communication strategies to trigger a circular supply chain. The interdisciplinary research project seeks to rediscover the founding characteristics of the Mare Nostrum, a space that is not only geographic, but a cultural ecosystem stratified over time. The design challenge is to establish a dialogic relationship with the key players in the context, in order to have a more participative design process.*
