The handling of pandemics in all the countries affected by the CoViD-19 outbreak is a major topic at global level, due to the ethical, legal and social implications posed by the emergency measures adopted by national governments and health authorities. In this context, the new technologies assumed a fundamental role and the discussion around its use came out from the narrow boundaries of the academic debate. Moving from the theoretical approach of the everyday bioethics, I will briefly analyse the main ethical issues posed by the advent of pandemics with regard to the use of the new technologies. These issues can be clustered in three categories: a) healthcare organisation and delivery; b) respect of fundamental rights; c) protection of vulnerable groups.

Abstract
The handling of pandemics in all the countries affected by the CoViD-19 outbreak is a major topic at global level, due to the ethical, legal and social implications posed by the emergency measures adopted by national governments and health authorities. In this context, the new technologies assumed a fundamental role and the discussion around its use came out from the narrow boundaries of the academic debate. Moving from the theoretical approach of the everyday bioethics, I will briefly analyse the main ethical issues posed by the advent of pandemics with regard to the use of the new technologies. These issues can be clustered in three categories: a) healthcare organisation and delivery; b) respect of fundamental rights; c) protection of vulnerable groups.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
