Algoritmi e ICT nel procedimento legislativo: quale sorte per la democrazia rappresentativa?

The purpose of this essay is to contribute to a reflection, which is also beginning to make its way into Italian constitutionalist thinking, on the role that the so-called “new technologies” - particularly algorithms and, more generally, ICTs - play, and can play, in the adoption of political decisions. The perspective that is taken if we look, in particular, at the diffusion of algorithms in the field of parliamentary decisions, which can be taken as paradigmatic of general and abstract decisions, shows that the issue poses essential questions for constitutional law
